Born into a hardworking migrant family in Australia, James learned early that success is earned through persistence, accountability and strong values. Despite facing learning challenges including dyslexia, James refused to allow obstacles to define his future. Instead, he built practical experience early in his career and developed the resilience that would later support him through both challenges and opportunities in business.

After rebuilding from financial setbacks earlier in his career, James applied the lessons he had learned to establish what would become TLH Group – a business founded on integrity, people and long-term purpose.

Inspired by his father, Maurice Marroun, James developed a strong work ethic from an early age – learning that responsibility, consistency and commitment are the foundations of meaningful success.
